Y'know, I actually intended to become a computer programmer at one time; it's what I started out studying in college. For one reason or the other, I never did follow-through with it, though. As a matter-of-fact, after college, I never even touched a computer again - until very recently.

In November of 2003 I purchased a personal home computer. The main reason I bought it was to prepare my car club's monthly newsletter (which I had volunteered to produce); and when I bought a computer, I bought the "whole hog" - not only did I buy a computer, but a printer (actually a Hewlett-Packard all-in-one) and a digital camera. I made the decision to buy an LCD screen at the time I made the purchase, and though it was (at the time) a little pricey, I haven't regretted it at all...

the eMachine today - Asus motherboard, AMD Athlon 64 cpu, 1G memory, 3 hard drives, video capture card (yeah, it's kinda tight in there - notice the hard drive stuck to the bottom of the case)...

"Command Central" - The computer system I purchased in November 2003...
