My family roots are buried pretty deep in Pearson GA and Atkinson County. Both my Mom and Dad grew up there, and I guess since I lived there from somewhere around the 4th grade, I guess that I did most of my growing up there too. I've never had a brother or sister (guess the folks figured, "Hey, we can't do any better..."); I sometimes wonder what it would have been like, but never spent a lot of time on wondering about it...
